Abstract

• Uvulitis is an infrequently recognized pediatric condition. • The diagnosis should be considered for the patient who presents with a sore throat, dysphagia, and an erythematous, edematous uvula in the absence of other, more serious disorders such as retropharyngeal or peritonsillar abscess.
