SPN launches Pediatric Nursing Excellence Unit Award

Abstract

A SPN goal in the 2023–2025 strategic plan created by the SPN Board of Directors, was to develop a recognition award for excellence in pediatric nursing. The vision of the goal was to generate more prestige and recognition within the pediatric nursing specialty. A taskforce was created in the summer of 2023 to develop and launch an award to recognize nursing units for excellence in pediatric nursing based on SPN's Pediatric Nursing Excellence Model that was developed in 2022.
