Abstract
Paratubal cysts are benign congenital remnants of the paramesonephric (Mullerian) or mesonephric (Wolffian) ducts. Small paratubal cysts are typically asymptomatic and incidental findings. However, if they enlarge, the cyst may cause pain or adnexal torsion. This chapter will review the anatomy, presentation, evaluation, and surgical management of paratubal cysts.
