Abstract

Pediatric surgeons are often involved in the management of acute and chronic gynecological conditions in children and adolescents. This chapter will provide an overview of common gynecological conditions encountered in a children's hospital setting with an emphasis on surgical approaches and what to do in the absence of a pediatric gynecologist.
